Day 3 – GiddingsToday we travel to Giddings via College Station, home of Texas A&M University and the Aggies. We leave College station in the afternoon, head out to Giddings where we’ll check in to our hotel. Tonight we’ll visit a local distillery and brewhouse for dinner and drinks….but we’ve got an early start in the morning, so it’ll be back to the hotel at a reasonable time.
-
Day 4 – San AntonioUp early today as it’s time to visit the world famous Snow’s BBQ in Lexington, Tx. The experience alone is worth it. If you’re lucky enough, you can get a photo with 88 year old Miss Tootsie, Snow’s Pit Master. We head straight to San Antonio after "breakfast" where you can check out the Alamo and the Riverwalk district. This is our home for the next 2 nights.
-
Day 5 – San AntonioToday we've got a day trip to Lockhart, TX, the “Barbecue Capital of Texas”. You’re definitely spoiled for choice here! We have the day to check out any of the 4 best BBQ restaurants in the world! Blacks Barbecue, Terry Blacks Barbecue, Kreuz Market, Smitty's Market....interesting family history here.

What more can we say??
-
Day 7 – AustinToday you’re on your own to explore Austin. There’s much to do and see, and plenty of BBQ to sample. We suggest you start at Franklin BBQ this morning but get there at 8am-9am (Bus will leave hotel at 8am) as the lines can get long quickly! The Hop On Hop Off tour is a good way to really get to know Austin (Tickets supplied). You can check out the Texas Capitol, the Museum of the Weird, the downtown area with dinky little bars, speakeasies and restaurants or simply walk the streets. You may even find a few bands playing later in the day.
-
Day 8 - AustinDay trip to Fredericksburg. A cool little town 90 minutes west of Austin. Main Street has 150 shops, boutiques and art galleries as well as dozens of restaurants, wine tasting rooms, a brewpub, two museums and more. Back in Austin for dinner at one of our favourite BBQ Restaurants in Texas, these guys are absolutely nailing every aspect of BBQ.
-
Day 9 – DallasA bit of an earlier start today as we're hitting #2 on the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ restaurants by 10am. Here is a more modern style of BBQ that is simply mouth-watering! After having our fill, we’ll head up highway 35 to Waco, with maybe a little secret stop along the way….for those of you with a sweet-tooth, keep some room free!. Then off to Waxahachie, before we stop for. the night in Dallas.
